Position: Administrative Assistant / Document Specialist
Location: USA

Purpose: Possess strong design and technical skills providing comprehensive administrative support to MissionExcellence (a ministry of MissionWorks) while leveraging expertise to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and create professional eye-catching documents and presentations.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Provide administrative support for Director and other MissionExcellence Staff
  • Handle inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Manage appointment and calendars for Director and other MissionExcellence staff
  • Assist with preparing meeting agendas
  • Design eye-catching and effective presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Slides, Canva, or other tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality documents and presentations
  • Ensure that all documents meet branding and style guidelines.
  • Create, format, and edit documents, reports, and manuals to ensure a professional and polished appearance
  • Create and maintain databases and records
  • Assist with the promotion of MissionExcellence introductory workshops and track metrics and data from these workshops
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Time Commitment: This is a part-time, self-supporting position 15-19 hours per week

Logistics:
Possibly a remote position – candidate will work from home using his/her own computer and high-speed internet. Day-to-day interactions will be conducted via email, telephone and video conferencing.

Worker Status:

Part-time, support based or self-supported. Approved expenses may be reimbursed.

Position:  Regional Mobilizer

Location: USA

Key Duties: The responsibilities of the Regional Mobilizer will be to:

  • The Regional Mobilizer will work to increase awareness of MissionNext within his/her region.
  • Establish relationships with local churches, agencies, schools, organizations and businesses to introduce them to MissionNext
  • Increase the number of agencies, schools and candidates for all MissionNext Pathways
  • Develop strategies to broaden awareness of MissionNext within the region
  • Speak at key gatherings, schools, colleges and other organizations to attract more partners and more workers for the harvest

Education: College graduate in Public Relations, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience and skills: Good track record of successful planning and execution of responsibilities with measurable results.  Excellent interpersonal skills, creative, self-starter and the ability to quickly assess the Regional needs and establish and execute plans to move forward. Knowledge of and experience with global missions is desired.

Position: National Director of Mobilization (Part-time, Volunteer)
Location: USA

Essential duties and expectations of the role:

  • Develop and lead MissionNext Regional Mobilization Teams
  • Create and implement recruiting and retention strategies for Regional Directors
  • Train and develop all Regional Directors, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Represent MissionNext at mission conferences, church activities and other events to recruit and promote the Regional Director program
  • Work with Regional Directors to increase awareness of MN in each region
  • Gather and analyze information and statistics in each region to determine outreach opportunities and possible partnerships
  • Participate in onboarding and orientation
  • Respond in a timely manner to emails, voicemails and texts.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls when invited.
  • Complete all assignments given by the direct supervisor.
  • Take part in ascribed training and learning in order to better fulfill the requirements of the position.
  • Represent MissionNext in all interactions (internal and external) with integrity and respect

Educational / Experience / Skills Requirements for role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Public Relations and 5+ years in a ministerial, missions or pastoral role or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with MS Office programs and virtual communication tools like Zoom required

Supervision: All Regional Mobilizers report to this position. This position reports to the CEO.

Working conditions / physical requirements: Preferred average hours per week 15-20. Work is done remotely, and Member will work from home using his/her own computer and internet. There will be much face-to-face contact with Regional Directors as well as contacts throughout the US Regions. Day-to-day contact is typically digital via tools such as email, telephone and video conferencing.

Travel requirements: Travel to all US Regions as well as regional or national MissionNext meetings or gatherings is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
